Ingredients to make Dadpe pohe

  • Thin white poha 1 1/2 cup
  • coconut water 1/2 cup
  • Greated coconut 1 cup
  • onion 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli 1 (Finely chopped)
  • lemon juice 2 tsp
  • sugar 1 Tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • For tempering
  • oil 1 Tbsp
  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • peanuts 1 Tbsp
  • Asofotida 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves 5

How to make Dadpe pohe

  1. Sieve the white thin poha,and just for 1 minute just dry roast it.
  2. In a bowl mix poha,coconut water,and fine grated fresh coconut cover it and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a small frying pan.
  4. Deep fry peanuts in that,remove it and pour on the poha coconut mixture.
  5. Now in the same heated oil temper with mustard seeds, asofotodia ,curry leaves pour this tempering on poha coconut mixture.
  6. Add green chilli,onion,lemon juice, sugar,salt to the poha mixture and mix nicely.
  7. Cover it and keep it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Dadpe pohe is ready to serve.

My Tip:

You can add chopped cucumber and chopped coriander also.
