My daughter loves to eat fish.As we all know that fish is full of protein,and it also contain vitamins and minerals.I have to prepare different kind of dish for her.This time i made this preparation using fish fillets,coconut,yougurt and lemon zest..

Fish in Coconut Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients to make Fish in Coconut Yogurt Sauce

  • Fish chunks-4(cut into square shaped )preferrebly boneless like bass or bhetki
  • coconut milk-1/2cup
  • Yougurt-2 tablespoons
  • cream-1 tablespoon
  • lemon zest-1 teaspoon
  • Green chili paste-1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • banana leaf -2 big or you can use foil paper
  • oil-1+1 teaspoon

How to make Fish in Coconut Yogurt Sauce

  1. Clean fish, keep on with kitchen towel and sprinkle salt on top and rub
  2. Take a bowl,combine coconut milk,yogurt, cream,green chili paste,salt, pepper,lemon zest and 1 teaspoon oil,mix well
  3. Cut two banana leaf according to the size of your pan or you can use foil paper
  4. Rub oil on leaves
  5. Heat few oil in a frying pan on slow flame
  6. Our one banana leaf on it
  7. Place all the fishes with their marinating and cover with another leaf
  8. Cover with lead
  9. Cook on slow flame for 5 minutes,then open the leaf and lid and flip the fish pices and again cover with leaf and lid.Cook for another 5 minutes and
  10. Switch off the gas or can cook more if the fishes are not tender.
  11. Serve with plain rice.
