Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cow's milk 3 litres
  2. Whey to curdle milk....1 cup
  3. Powdered sugar...1/4 cup
  4. Rose water 1 tea spoon
  5. Dessicated coconut 1/2 cup
  6. Pistachios crushed 1/2 cup


  1. Bring the cow milk to a boil in a deep pan. Lower heat, add whey and stir continuously till the milk curdles completely
  2. Strain through a piece of muslim cloth immediately.
  3. Place the muslim potli on ice to stop the cooking process. Squeeze the excess moisture
  4. Transfer the chenna to a plate and knead with the palm of your hand till smooth.
  5. Add powdered sugar , rose water and dessicated coconut and mix well to make a medium soft dough
  6. Shape in ladoo in desired shape and roll these ladoo in crushed pistachio and arrange on a serving plate
  7. Chill and serve
