Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Freshly grated fresh coconut...1 cup
  2. Besan ...1/2 cup or so
  3. Salt and green chillies to taste
  4. Ajwain...1/4 tea spoon
  5. Oil to fry
  6. Tomato gravy or kadhi for these koftas...4 cups


  1. Take coconut grated with salt, green chillies and ajwain in a bowl and add besan with few drops of coconut water, which we get when we break fresh coconut
  2. Heat oil and make koftas out of this dough and add in the tomato or kadhi gravy
  3. I used mixture of tomato and kadhi gravy for a change
  4. Enjoy coconut kofta
