Ingredients to make Rabri

  • 1 1/2 litres milk
  • 200 gm khoya
  • Chopped almonds
  • Chopped cashewnuts
  • sugar free powder/sugar as per taste
  • few strands of kesar
  • For Garnish :
  • Chopped almonds
  • Chopped pistachios

How to make Rabri

  1. Take milk in a thick bottomed pan and let it boil.
  2. Reduce the flame and keep stirring.
  3. When the milk is reduced to half add crushed khoya and keep stirring.
  4. Add chopped almonds and chopped cashewnuts. Add kesar.
  5. Add sugar free powder or sugar according to taste.
  6. When milk is reduced to 1/4 approximately or thickens switch off the flame.
  7. Garnish with chopped almonds and chopped pistachios and serve chilled.

My Tip:

Keep stirring milk to avoid burning
