ABOUT Mac n cheese ball RECIPE

I tasted this mac cheese ball recently in a restaurant it was soo yummy and drooling. Wanted to try on my own for long time. Surprisingly came out very well for the first time itself. Its yummy kids snack or can be included in any party as a starter.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled mac 1/2 cup
  2. MILK 3/4 glass
  3. Butter 3 tbsp
  4. Cheese 2 cubes
  5. Maida 1 1/2 tbsp
  6. Mixed herb 1 tbsp
  7. Garlic powder 1 tsp
  8. Bread slice 5nos
  9. oil to fry
  10. Corn flour 2 tbsp
  11. water 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. White sauce In a pan add 2tbsp butter, in a medium flame add maida to butter and fry well. Once u get good aroma add in milk and keep whisking till you get white sauce.
  2. Once u acheived white sauce consistency add salt, grated cheese and one spoon butter and mix well
  3. To thick white sauce add in boiled macaroni and mix well. Take it in a bowl and allow it to cool in refridgerator for 1 hr.
  4. Powder bread in a dry mixer. Add garlic powder and mixed herbs to powdered bread crumbs.
  5. In a bowl add corn flour and enough water to make liquid.
  6. Take the mac from fridge and scoop out to small balls and tightly press down. Roll over bread crumbs
  7. Dip the balls in corn flour liquid and roll over bread crumbs. Repeat this process twice.
  8. Now mac cheese ball are ready to be deep fried.
  9. In a small pan add oil to fry, once its hot add in the balls in medium-low flame and fry for about five min to acheive golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with chilly mayonnaise.
