Fish fillets baked with lemon and plenty of butter

Lemon Butter Fish (Basa)

Ingredients to make Lemon Butter Fish (Basa)

  • Fish fillets (Basa fish) 1/2" thick 2 (150g per piece)
  • butter 30 g
  • lemon 1 small size for juice and zest
  • salt as required
  • onion powder 1 teaspoon
  • garlic powder 1 teaspoon
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Cilli flex 1/2 teaspoon
  • honey 1 teaspoon (optional)

How to make Lemon Butter Fish (Basa)

  1. Take cleaned fish fillets make light slits with a knife on fillets.
  2. Rub fishes with salt pepper 1 teaspoon lemon, juice , onion and garlic powder
  3. Add 1/3 teaspoon of Lemon zest and cilli flex
  4. Rub both sides
  5. Place fishes on a baking tray put butter on the top
  6. Bake it for about 10 minutes one side at 200°C in preheated oven (preheat for 10 minutes)
  7. Then bake the other side for 10 minutes with a small lemon slice on the top
  8. Spread little honey before serving
  9. Serve hot

My Tip:

You can use any fish fillets of your choice but the baking time will vary with the quality and thick ness of the fillets
