ABOUT Butter saffron Rice RECIPE

Plain Basmati rice with the flavour of saffron and glaze of butter

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Water 2cups
  3. Butter 3 tbsp
  4. 1 tbsp milk
  5. Pinch of saffron
  6. Salt to taste


  1. In a heavy bottom pan add water with required salt
  2. Add in soaked and washed rice and cook till 3 /4 done
  3. When rice is done add the dollop of butter on to the rice and press it down..
  4. Soak the saffron in hot milk and drizzle over the rice and cover and cook for 7 minutes to infuse saffron flavour
  5. Mix everything while serving
