Saffron rice kheer can be made for any festival or celebration.it is a delicous indian recipe served as dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk 1 liter
  2. Rice 1/2 cup
  3. Cardamom 5 green
  4. Saffron 40 strands
  5. Sugar 1/2 cup
  6. Dry fruits
  7. Ghee 1 tablespoon


  1. soak saffron in 1 tablespoon of warm milk.
  2. wash & soak rice for 10 to 15 minutes.meanwhile boil the milk in a thick bottom pan.
  3. add the rice to the boiling milk & simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. heat ghee roast the dry fruits till Golden brown.
  5. add sugar & stir well to mix it.
  6. then add saffron milk & cardamom powder stir well have in low flame.
  7. then switch off flame & add roasted nuts
