Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Water 2 cup
  3. Butter 2 - 3 tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Pinch of saffron
  6. Milk 1 - 2 tbsp
  7. Two cloves


  1. Soak the saffron in hot milk.
  2. Soak and wash rice.
  3. In a heavy bottom pan add water with required salt.
  4. Add two cloves.
  5. Add soaked and washed rice and cook till 80% done.
  6. When rice is done, add butter on to this rice and press it down.
  7. Soaked saffron ( in hot milk ) drizzle over the rice and cover and cook for 4 - 5 minutes to infuse saffron flavour.
  8. Mix everything very well
  9. Serve butter saffron rice.
