Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken 250 gm
  2. Potato 1 piece
  3. Curd 1/4 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Termeric powder half spoon
  9. Cumin powder 2 spoon
  10. Oil as required
  11. Butter as required
  12. Chopped onion 2 piece
  13. Water for cooking rice
  14. Tomato puree
  15. Rice 2 cups
  16. Bay leaf 1piece
  17. Whole garam masala (green cardamoms 2, cloves 3, cinnamon 1 inch )
  18. Pinch of saffron
  19. Hot milk 2 spoon
  20. Biryani masala

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with curd ,Salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and little oil.
  2. Soak saffron in hot milk.
  3. Heat a pan add refined oil + butter. Put potato and fried .keep aside. .
  4. Then add whole garam masala and bay leaf
  5. Add chopped onion. When it become golden brown in colour, Half fried onion keep aside . Add marinated chicken to this fried onion.
  6. Add tomato puree and cook very well. .
  7. When chiken cooked then biryani masala are add to this.
  8. Now wash rice.
  9. In a heavy bottom pan take Water, salt and rice . Add few drops of oil. Cook till half done. Then drain the rice.
  10. Now take a biryani pot with a thin layer of rice, then cooked chicken and last layer of rest rice. Spread fried onion and soaked saffron. Then pour butter / ghee and cover biryani pot.
  11. Cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  12. Serve hot.
