About Taaler Malpoya with rabdi Recipe

Malpoya made out of Taal ( sugar palm fruit by name Palmyra palm , ice apple in English. The fruit contains vitamins and full of minerals. Also is a natural coolant for the body in the summer). This fruit ( ripe) is available in rainy season only... It 's tastes awesome , delicious and has very good aroma.

Ingredients to make Taaler Malpoya with rabdi

  • 1 cup riped ice-apple pulp
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2-3 tbsp rava
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 gud
  • oil for fry
  • For Rabdi
  • 1 litter milk
  • 1/4 chopped badam
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp kesar

How to make Taaler Malpoya with rabdi

  1. Mix flour, rava, sugar and milk with taal ( palm) pulp and make a better
  2. it must be smooth better and rest for 30 minutes
  3. meanwhile make the rabdi. Boil the milk and reduced to make it thick.
  4. Add Kesar, sugar and cardamom powder in the milk , keep aside
  5. Heat ample amount of oil with ghee and pour one medium size ladle full of better in the hot oil and deep fry the malpoya till golden colour.
  6. Serve with rabdi or eat just as it is.

My Tip:

Take out the pulp from taal( palm) and hung in muslin cloth, so that extra water with bitter recedul will drain out.
