Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Peanuts 100 gram
  2. Dry coconut 100 gram
  3. Seasme seeds 20 grams
  4. Green bhavnagari chillies 200 gram
  5. Onion seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  8. Fenugreek seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  11. Green chilli paste 1 teaspoon
  12. Tamarind paste 75 gram
  13. Brown onions 1/2 cup
  14. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  15. Red pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  16. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  17. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  20. Oil 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Roasted coconut, peanuts and seasme seeds
  2. Grind with 1 cup water to make a paste
  3. Split the peppers
  4. Shallow fry in oil at slow flame
  5. Keep in a plate
  6. Now in remaining oil add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds,onion seeds, mustard seeds and fennel seeds
  7. Add ginger garlic paste
  8. Add green chilli paste
  9. Add tamarind paste
  10. Add brown onions
  11. Add all the spices and salt
  12. Add coconut paste in it
  13. Fry well
  14. Add 2 cups of water
  15. Add fried chillies in it
  16. Take a boil
  17. Serve hot with chapati or naan or paranthe
