Ingredients to make Hyderabadi Mirch ka salan

  • peanuts -4tbsp
  • Big green chillies - 4-5
  • sesame seeds-3tbsp
  • Dry coconut powder-1/2cup
  • ginger-1inch
  • garlic 2-3 pods
  • turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • chilli powder-1/2tsp
  • methi seeds-1/2tsp
  • Garam masala-1tsp
  • cumin-1tsp
  • onion-1 chopped
  • tamarind water 1/2cup
  • jaggery 2tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil as according

How to make Hyderabadi Mirch ka salan

  1. Take a pan add peanuts and dry roast it.niw add in pan sesame, coconut and dry roast when it smells out than off flame and keep aside.
  2. Now take mixer jar add dry roasted masala and add ginger garlic, methi seeds,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala and add 1/2cuo of water grind it all n make a smooth paste.
  3. Now wash the big green chillies and slit and remove the seeds , fry in hot oil until looks whitish in colour.remive from oil and keep aside.
  4. Take a wok add oil when heat the oil add jeera,curry leaves when crackle them add chopped onion cook till golden, now add Coconut paste and mix well, now add Jaggery ,tamarind water , salt and mix nicely ,add more water if required adjust consistency cook 10 min with lid.
  5. Now add fried chillies and cook 4-5min.with lid
  6. Serve hit with steamed rice or chapati

My Tip:

Dont firget dlit the mirch and remove seeds
