Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. ghee 1/2
  2. Maida 2 cups
  3. besan 1 tsp
  4. Lemon 2tsp
  5. Water as needed
  6. Ghee for frying
  7. Sugar 2 cups
  8. Saffron few strands
  9. yellow good color(optional)

Instructions

  1. take 1/2 cup ghee in a vessel, put 3 ice cubes, and cream the ghee with your palm. it will turn white in color. remove cubes and cream it using palm for 10 mins
  2. in the ghee add maida and mix properly, add water and mix properly. then add besan and more water. it should be thin consistency. add lemon juice and stir
  3. take a pan and put ghee to heat. when its heated pour the batter, when the bubbles stop, pour the batter again. repeat the process for 5 times. then drain and remove from ghee
  4. make sugar syrup with two string consistency. add saffron and food color. then pour the sugar syrup on the ghewar
  5. serve with pistachios and almond slices
