Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grams Uddad half chilka daal
  2. one teaspoon salt
  3. one teaspoon jeera
  4. one teaspoon chopped Ginger
  5. 250 grams refined oil for frying
  6. A Pinch of haldi powder


  1. 1- Soak Dal at night (wash it 2- 3 time and soak it in plenty of water)
  2. Throw that water in the morning and wash it again and grind it in the grinder with very little water.
  3. Now add all ingredients in it with one teaspoon of refined oil and mix it properly and wait for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Switch on gas and put pan on the high flame gas and pour refined oil in it and let it be hot.
  5. in the meantime mix that mixture of daal for 3-4 minutes with fork.
  6. Then take a spoon dip it in oil and take one spoon of that grinded mixture and keep on pouring in hot oil for frying.
  7. Now simmer the flame and let it fry properly from inner side too.
  8. When it changes it's colour then take them out and keep them on kitchen towel.
  9. These are multi purpose 1-Wadaa, we can use them as 2-Dahi-Wadaa, 3-Pakoras 4-Wadaa in Tomato gravy with chappati 5-Gulgulla with onion, chutnies, Chaat masalla etc.
