Akki roti is one of the staple dish in Karnataka. Akki means rice in Kannada and roti means flat bread. So basically these are flat breads made with rice flour and mix veggies. These rotis are not rolled, but the dough is patted with hands on a plantain(banana) leaf . Or directly on a greased cool tawa.
