Coconut pattice

Ingredients to make Coconut pattice

  • 5 medium potatoes boiled and mashed.
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp.garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbap maida dissolved in water to make paste
  • 1 cup rusk crushed/ bread crumbs

How to make Coconut pattice

  1. In a mixing bowl. Add grated coconut, green chillies. Coriander leaves, grated ginger, salt and garam masala. Mix and keep aside
  2. Apply oil in palm. Take mashed potato mix and make a well of it. Stuff it with coconut mixure. Seal it.
  3. Now dip this cutlet in maida paste coat in bread crumbs. And fry till golden
  4. Repeat the same process with all cutlets
  5. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce.
