Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boondi raita....2 bowls
  2. Besan...2 table spoon
  3. Salt and red chilly powder to taste
  4. Whole red chillies...2
  5. Desi ghee...1 table spoon
  6. Fenugreek seeds...2 tea spoon
  7. Cumin seeds...1/4 tea spoon
  8. Curry leaves....1 sprig
  9. Cloves...4
  10. Turmeric powder....1/4 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Left over boondi raita
  2. Strain raita and keep boondi aside.
  3. Mix besan and water in seived curd, more sour curd can be made, if so required
  4. Heat a woke, add half ghee, add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves, cook for a while and add cloves, whole red chillies and again cook for some time
  5. Add whisked curd and besan batter, salt and turmeric powder
  6. Cook till kadhi thickens, now add strained boondi and transfer to serving bowl
  7. Heat remaining half ghee in a tadka pan, add cumin seed and red chilly powder and pour tadka in the serving bowl itself
  8. Enjoy
