About Upma with left over idli Recipe

If soo much idli is left in morning Breakfast its boring to eat the same in lunch or Dinner right?? So here is the Simple modified delicious recipe

Upma with left over idli

Ingredients to make Upma with left over idli

  • Left over idli - 10
  • oil
  • Dry fruits [as required]
  • mustard seeds-1/2tsp
  • jeera [cumin seeds] -1/2 tsp
  • turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Green chilli 2-3
  • peanuts - 1/2 tsp
  • coconut - 2-3tbs
  • salt

How to make Upma with left over idli

  1. Add oil in the pan
  2. Then mustard seeds and jeera... Fry
  3. Now add peanuts.. Green chilli and turmeric , saute.
  4. Take left over idli... Smash little Bit not too much
  5. Add them into the pan...fry for 2-3 mins
  6. Add salt
  7. Heat some oil in another pan and Fry all your favorite dry fruits
  8. Temper it above the prepared upma
  9. Simple delicious upma is Ready

My Tip:

You can Fry dry fruits and peanuts in ghee for more taste
