Leftover Roti Pakoda

Ingredients to make Leftover Roti Pakoda

  • 2 leftover chapatis
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp semolina
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 PINCH turmeric POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp hot oil
  • water as required
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Leftover Roti Pakoda

  1. take leftover chapatis and break into the pieces
  2. grind them to a fine powder
  3. in a bowl add chapati chura and all the remaining ingrediants except water
  4. mix everything well
  5. now pour water, mix well and prepare a thick batter
  6. heat oil in a kadai over medium flame
  7. when oil becomes hot, take small portion of mixture in the hand and gently drop 4-5 pakodas into the oil and deep fry until they turn golden brown in colour
  8. take them out and drain excess oil
  9. repeat the process for remaining batter
  10. serve with a cup of tea
