ABOUT little hearts sandesh RECIPE

Leftover sandesh mixed with nuts and khoya , stuffed between two crunchy little heart biscuits

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. leftover sandesh ( mashed ) - 1 cup
  2. unsweetened khova - 1/2 cup
  3. saffron strands - a pinch
  4. finely chopped nuts ( almond, pista) - 1/4 cup
  5. powdered sugar - 2 tsp
  6. rose water - 1 tsp
  7. ghee - 1 tbsp
  8. little hearts biscuits - 2 pkts ( 40 pcs )


  1. in a bowl add the leftover sandesh and khoya and mix well.
  2. Take a kadai, add 1 tbsp of ghee. Roast the nuts, immltnadd the sandesh khoya mixture and saute them so that the nuts mix with them nicely.
  3. Add sugar to it, cook till it becomes a thick dough
  4. Add saffron strands, rose water to it and mix them nicely
  5. Take them out from fire and allow it to cool
  6. Make small balls out of it, take two little heart biscuits and stuff the ball in between them
  7. press the biscuits firmly .
  8. little hearts sandesh sandwich is ready to indulge
