Little Hearts

Ingredients to make Little Hearts

  • Two and half cup wheat flour
  • Two spoon rawa
  • 200 gm jaggery (gud)
  • Half spoon green cardamom powder
  • One spoon sesame seeds
  • Two spoon purified butter (deshi ghee)
  • Oil or purified butter for frying
  • Two spoon sugar powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Half cup water

How to make Little Hearts

  1. Dissolve jaggery in water and strain.
  2. Take a mixing bowl, put wheat flour, rawa, ghee, pinch of salt, cardamon powder, sesame seeds and mix well with hands.
  3. Add jaggery water and knead a hard dough.
  4. Cover with a cloth and keep it for 30 minutes.
  5. Now roll the dough on platform and make it flat with a roller pin. Make shape with a cookie cutter and cut little hearts.
  6. Heat oil and fry little hearts on medium flame.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar.

My Tip:

You can also put dry fruits like almonds.
