Ingredients to make Biscotti

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

How to make Biscotti

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
  2. Beat together the oil, eggs and sugar in a bowl until blended well.
  3. Combine the flour and baking powder to form a heavy dough. Add pine nuts, almonds and salt.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Form each piece into a roll as long as your baking sheet.
  5. Place roll onto the prepared baking sheet, and press down to 1/2-inch thickness.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the baking sheet to cool for a while on a wire rack.
  8. Now slice each 1 crosswise into 1/2-inch slices. Place the slices cut side up back onto the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for an additional 6 to 10 minutes on each side.
  10. Enjoy lightly toasted cookie slices.
