ABOUT Crispy Palak Chat / Spinach Chat RECIPE

This is a healthy chat made from spinach. It is grilled in an oven and then the chat it made.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To make the crispy Palak
  2. Few Fresh Palak /Spinach leaves around 12 whole leaves
  3. Oil to Drizzle
  4. Salt to sprinkle
  5. For the Palak chat
  6. Crispy Palak leaves
  7. 1 small Potato cut into cubes and boiled
  8. 1 small onion chopped
  9. 4 tbsp Beaten Curd
  10. 1 tbsp Sev
  11. Drizzle of Lime juice
  12. Sprinkle of Chat masala
  13. 3 tbsp Green Chutney : ( Add 1/4 cup Coriander leaves, 1 Green chillies, and in a blender and blend it together)
  14. 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  15. 1 Green chillies
  16. 1 tsp Raw mango
  17. Salt
  18. 2 tbsp Red Chutney ( Add few Garlic cloves, and in a blender and blend it together with little water)
  19. 2 Dry Red chillies
  20. few Garlic cloves
  21. salt
  22. 1 tbsp Sweet Tamarind Chutney :
  23. 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp
  24. 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  25. 4 tbsp Jaggery
  26. salt
  27. Few Coriander leaves and Pomegranate seeds for garnishing


  1. For Red Chutney: Add few Garlic cloves,red chillies and salt in a blender and blend it together with little water
  2. Tamarind chutney : Mix together all the ingredients and cook it till the Jaggery melts and thickens up a bit
  3. To make Crispy Palak, Take a baking tin, spread the Palak leaves, drizzle oil and sprinkle some salt. Bake it at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
  4. Half way in between turn the leaves. Bake till crispy.
  5. For the Palak chat, On a plate first add the crispy spinach leaves, then one by one add the potatoes, onions, curd, green chutney, red chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, drizzle of lime, sprinkle chat masala.
  6. Add sev and then garnish with coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.
  7. Enjoy the healthy Chat.
