A different type of kulfi that I experimented in my kitchen today...

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk - 250 ml
  2. Elbow pasta - 2 handfuls (boiled and kept aside)
  3. Almonds- 10 to 15 chopped finely
  4. Sugar - 4 to 5 tbspn(adjust to taste)
  5. Vanilla essence- 2 to 3 drops
  6. Pistachios and Almonds - few for garnishing
  7. kulfi moulds


  1. Boil the pasta and then drain it. Now in a mixer jar just give it one whiz...So that they get crushed... But do not make it a paste
  2. Then keep milk to boil .... After it boils put the pasta in it and cook it for few minutes....
  3. Add chopped almonds and sugar....And let it reduce ...Keep stirring the milk and pasta mixture ....
  4. Once it gets thick....Turn off the gas...Put vanilla essence and mix well..
  5. Then let it cool down....Once it is cooled pour it into the moulds and freeze it till it sets
  6. While serving garnish it with chopped pistachios and almonds ...
  7. Serve chilled....
