Ingredients to make Thattu vadai set

  • Thattu vadai(A type of chakli) 1 packet
  • lemon juice
  • garlic 5 to 6 cloves
  • tomato
  • Chaat masal powder
  • carrot 1
  • Beetroot 1
  • Red chillies 5 to 6
  • green chillies 3 to 4
  • onion 1
  • oil 2tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • tamarind 1small piece
  • mint leaves
  • salt according to taste

How to make Thattu vadai set

  1. For green chutney take mint leaves, green chillies, salt.
  2. Saute it in oil and grind it with lemon juice.
  3. For red chutney take tomato, red chillies, garlic, tamarind and onion.
  4. Saute it in oil and grind it with lemon juice and salt.
  5. Grate the beetroot and carrot and mix it with finely chopped corriander.
  6. Take a thattu vadai and smear one side with red chutney. Top it with the shredded mixture.
  7. Sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masal on it and sandwich it with another thattu vadai smeared with green chutney.
  8. The spiciness can be altered according to taste. It tastes good when it is really spicy.
