About Palak Chapati Kebab Recipe

Healthy and yummy Kebabs made with the leftover chapatis.

Palak Chapati Kebab

Ingredients to make Palak Chapati Kebab

  • Boiled potatoes 4
  • Chopped palak 1 cup
  • Leftover chapatis 2
  • anar Dana 1/2 tsp
  • Gram masala 1/2 tsp
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chilli 1 or 2
  • Crushed garlic 5-6 pods
  • oil for frying or shallow frying

How to make Palak Chapati Kebab

  1. Pressure cook the potatoes to boil them. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
  2. Wash and chop the palak. Mix it with the potatoes.
  3. Take the chapatis and dip in water. Squeeze and mash it in the potato mixture.
  4. Add chopped green chilli, crushed garlic and mix well.
  5. Add all the spices, lemon juice and mix well to make a smooth dough.
  6. Make Kebabs with the help of your palm.
  7. Deep fry them in hot oil or you can also shallow fry them.
  8. Serve hot with evening tea.

My Tip:

Chapatis are better than bread. Believe me, its taste is much better than the bread cutlets.
