About Chot Pota Pyaaji Recipe

Pyaaji is a staple snacks at any Bengali's houses, helping people bond over a cup of tea and muri ( puffed rice) specially in rainy season. It takes almost no effort to assemble and fry. Those hot hot pyaaji are ready to eat.

Chot Pota Pyaaji

Ingredients to make Chot Pota Pyaaji

  • onion thinly sliced- 3 no.
  • chickpea flour ( besan)- 1 cup
  • Green chilli- 4 no.
  • salt to taste
  • oil - for deep frying.

How to make Chot Pota Pyaaji

  1. In a deep bottomed pan, heat oil.
  2. Meanwhile combine first four ingredients with little water to prepare a batter.
  3. Take table spoon of the batter and drop it into the oil.
  4. Fry it in on medium flame till light brown on both sides. Serve with chutney.
