Multipurpose Fresh Red Chilli Achar

Ingredients to make Multipurpose Fresh Red Chilli Achar

  • Fresh red chillies 250 grams
  • Tamrind pulp 1/2cup
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • hing 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tbsp
  • chana dal 1 tbsp
  • red chilli POWDER 1 TBSP
  • Sambar powder 2 tbsp
  • vinegar 1/2 cup
  • salt as per taste

How to make Multipurpose Fresh Red Chilli Achar

  1. Wash Fresh red chillies and dry them.
  2. Deseed each chilli and keep aside.
  3. Make fine paste with little salt in a mixer jar.
  4. Keep aside.
  5. Now heat the oil in a thick bottom pan.
  6. When oil get hot,add chana dal,urad dal,mustard seeds and hing.
  7. Add tamarind pulp.
  8. Add chilli paste and saute for a minute.
  9. Add red chilli powder,sambar powder,and salt.
  10. Saute mixture until oil separates from it.
  11. Finally add vinegar into it,and again saute for a minute.
  12. Store in a glass container after it cools down completely.

My Tip:

Put handgloves while deseeding the fresh red chillies. Or apply oil on yor hand so that burnig sensation will less.
