Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Red chillies 1 kg
  2. Mustard oil.... 2 cups
  3. Salt 50 grams or to taste
  4. Red chilly powder....1 tea spoon
  5. Cumin seeds....2 tea spoon
  6. Fennel seeds....2 tea spoon
  7. Fenugreek seeds...1 tea spoon
  8. Mustard seeds...1 tea spoon
  9. Turmeric powder...2 tea spoon
  10. Amchoor powder....2 tea spoon
  11. Asafoetida...1/4 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Wash red chillies and let it dry under sun or Pat dry and make a slit in these carefully keeping the stalk or head part intact
  2. In a pan heat mustard oil to smoking point, switch off the gas
  3. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fennel and fenugreek seeds to a heated woke and dry roast for a minute and cool it and grind it
  4. Now mix all the masalas and salt and little of mustard oil and fill this into slit red chillies
  5. Throw these in a glass jar and top them with balance mustard oil, do take care ...mustard oil should be cold enough
  6. Cover it and put it under sun light for some days
  7. Enjoy
