ABOUT Red bell pepper pickle RECIPE

This pickle can be preserved for a month or so if you keep it in a fridge. No water has been used for the preparation. It can be served with any Indian dish like Pulao, biriyani, plane rice, khichdi, paratha, roti, puri.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Red bell pepper 2 big size
  2. sugar 1/2 cup
  3. White vinegar 1 cup
  4. ginger paste 1tsp
  5. garlic paste 1 tsp
  6. Panch- foron(mixed bengali seasoning) 1 tsp
  7. chilli powder 2 tbsp
  8. Black pepper crashed 1 tsp
  9. mustard oil 2 tbsp
  10. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take two red bell pepper
  2. Cut into square cube and mix 1 tbsp salt
  3. Mix sugar and vinegar in a glass bowl
  4. Put crashed black pepper on it mix till sugar dissolves
  5. Heat oil in a pan
  6. Add panch- foron for seasoning
  7. Add ginger- garlic paste,chilli powder and stirr for a minute
  8. Strain access water through a strainer
  9. Put the red bell pepper in spices and mix well till oil separates from spice
  10. Mix vinegar mix on red bell pepper and boil for 5 to 8 minutes till bell pepper become little soft
  11. Cool and store in a airtight jar
