About Potato Wedges Recipe

Homemade potato wedges to fulfill the demand of kids at your home. Serve them the exact restaurant wale tasty wedges at home.

Potato Wedges

Ingredients to make Potato Wedges

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • water to boil
  • oil for deep frying
  • Pizza seasoning 1 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cornflour 3 tablespoon

How to make Potato Wedges

  1. Wash & peel off the potatoes. Cut them into wedges.
  2. Cook the potatoes for 3 minutes into boiling water by adding a teaspoon of salt.
  3. Drain the hot water and add the par boiled potatoes into chilled water & let it cool completely.
  4. Drain the chilled water & let the potatoes get dry or use a cotton cloth to dry the potatoes.
  5. In a bowl, add a teaspoon of oil, red chilly powder, cumin coriander powder, pizza seasoning (3/4 teaspoon), salt to taste & cornflour.
  6. Add in the par boiled & dried potatoes. Mix it gently so that the spices coats the potatoes well.
  7. Deep freeze the potatoes for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Deep fry them at medium flame till it turns golden brown & crispy.
  9. Sprinkle pizza seasoning over it & serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
