Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups : All purpose flour
  2. 3 tbsp : Dark brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp : Pumpkin spice
  4. 1 tsp : Instant yeast
  5. 2 tbsp : Butter
  6. 1 tsp : Salt
  7. 1/2 cup : Canned Pumpkin puree
  8. 1/2 Cup : Warm Water
  9. 2 tsp : Oil
  10. 1/2 Cup : Soft Cream Cheese
  11. Twine thread as needed
  12. For Garnish : 8 : Pecan quarter's
  13. Few Green leaves of choice

Instructions

  1. ADD 2CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR,3TBSP BROWN SUGAR,1TSP PUMPKIN SPICE,2TBSP BUTTER,1TSP YEAST IN A BOWL
  2. BREAK THE BUTTER AND MIX WELL WITH DRY INGREDIENTS UNTIL THE BUTTER IS WELL INCORPORATED.
  3. CONTINUE MIXING UNTIL YOU DON'T FIND ANY BIG LUMPS OF BUTTER.
  4. ONCE THE BUTTER IS MIXED WELL WITH THE FLOUR ADD A TSP OF SALT AND GIVE IT A MIX.
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP OF CANNED PUMPKIN PUREE AND MIX.
  6. ADDING 1/2 CUP OF WARM WATER IN INTERVALS KNEAD IT A SOFT YET NON STICKY DOUGH.
  7. SCOOP OUT THE DOUGH ON TO A WORKING SURFACE.
  8. WITH YOUR PALM AND HEEL KNEAD THE DOUGH WITHOUT ADDING ANY DRY FLOUR.
  9. CONTINUE KNEADING FOR FIVE MINUTES, THIS HELPS IN DEVELOPING THE GLUTEN SO DO NOT SKIP.
  10. ONCE DONE KNEADING SHAPE IT TO A BALL.
  11. GREASE THE BOWL WITH A TSP OF OIL.PLACE THE DOUGH AND SLIGHTLY FLATTEN IT BY PATTING.
  12. BRUSH THE DOUGH WITH A LITTLE OIL,COVER IT AND ALLOW IT TO PROOF FOR AN HOUR OR UNTIL DOUBLED.
  13. AS IT DOUBLES,KNOCK OUT THE AIR AND REMOVE ON TO A WORKING SURFACE.
  14. FLATTEN THE DOUGH INTO A THICK DISC.USING A PIZZA CUTTER DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO EIGHT EQUAL PORTIONS.
  15. TAKE EACH PORTION,TUCK THEIR CORNERS AND SHAPE INTO A TIGHT BALL. REPEAT AND SHAPE THE REST AS WELL.
  16. TAKE A DOUGH BALL FLATTEN IT TO A DISC WITH EDGES SLIGHTLY THINNER THAN CENTER.
  17. PLACE A TBSP OF SOFT CREAM CHEESE IN ITS CENTER. BRING ITS CORNERS TOGETHER AND PRESS FIRMLY TO SEAL
  18. ROLL IT WITH LIGHT HANDS AND RE SHAPE IT TO A BALL.
  19. CUT A FOOT LONG TWINE AND PLACE THE FILLED PUMPKIN ROLL IN ITS CENTER AND MAKE A KNOT IN MIDDLE.
  20. NOW CONTINUE KNOTTING AS SHOWN.
  21. ONCE DONE TRIM OF THE EXTRAS.
  22. DOESN'T IT LOOK LIKE A PUMPKIN ALREADY? KNOT AND SHAPE THE REST SIMILARLY AND PLACE ON A BAKING TRAY
  23. COVER THE TRAY WITH ANOTHER DEEP PAN AND ALLOW THEM RISE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE UNTIL DOUBLED IN SIZE.
  24. WHILE HOT,GENEROUSLY BRUSH THE GOLDEN BAKED PUMPKIN CREAM CHEESE BUNS WITH MELTED BUTTER,
  25. ONCE THEY ARE COOL TO TOUCH SNAP OFF THE TWINE AND SLOWLY REMOVE IT WITHOUT DISTURBING THE BUNS.
  26. PLACE A PECAN QUARTER AND A LEAF OF CHOICE IN THE CENTER OF EACH BUN.
