Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. bitter gourd 250 gram
  2. tomato four numbers
  3. Small onion 15 nos
  4. green chilli 10 numbers
  5. Garlic 7 numbers
  6. tamarind one small gooseberry size
  7. coriander powder two tablespoon
  8. chili powder 2 tablespoon
  9. Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  10. Jaggery 1 tablespoon
  11. coriander and curry leaf small quantity
  12. gingelly oil 75 g
  13. turmeric powder small pinch
  14. For Roasting
  15. Mustard seeds
  16. Fenugreek seeds

Instructions

  1. in Pan or oil and fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds and garlic and small onion green chilli saute well
  2. then add chili powder and bitter guard asafoetida
  3. Add tomato and salt boil well for 10 min
  4. Soak tamarind in water and then add to the pan.
  5. Add turmeric and coriander powder.
  6. As your wish u can add chilli powder
  7. For 15 min cook the gravy in half flame next add jaggery curry and coriander leaves
  8. Tangi bitter gourd curry is ready
