Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sooji/ Rava -1 glass roasted
  2. Moong dhal-1/4 glass cooked
  3. Green chilies-2
  4. Curry leaves- handful
  5. Ginger- small piece
  6. Ghee-2 spoon
  7. Oil -1 tablespoons
  8. Pepper corn-1 spoon
  9. Cumin seeds-1/2 spoon
  10. Cashew- handful
  11. Turmeric powder-1/4 spoon
  12. Salt- as required
  13. Coriander leaves- as required

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and ghee in a flat vessel and add pepper corn .
  2. Wait till it splutters and then add cashews and fry till brown.
  3. Add cumin seeds and fry for a second.
  4. Add green chilli, curry leaves and ginger.
  5. Add cooked moong dhal and three glass of water.
  6. Add turmeric powder and salt as required.
  7. Once the water starts boiling add sooji little by little and keep stirring.
  8. Keep stirring on medium flame to avoid sticking at the bottom.
  9. Once it is completely cooked add coriander leaves.
