Ingredients to make Panasha Pitha

  • Rice flour 2 cups
  • Ripe Jack-fruit Pulp 1 cup
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • jaggery Powder 2 tbsps
  • fennel powder 1 tbsp
  • coconut grated 2 tbsps
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Cooking oil
  • water

How to make Panasha Pitha

  1. Mix all except water.Keep aside for an hour to ferment.
  2. Check the consistency of batter. If you feel it's tight, add 1 tbsp water first.Add 1 tbsp more if u need.
  3. The consistency should not be runny or too hard ,it should be in-between
  4. Heat oil in a Shallow Kadhai .Drop small portion of batter in it & fry at medium flame till they are light golden color.
  5. Cool a bit ,serve warm.
