Ingredients to make TOMATO JAM

  • tomatoes ( COUNTRY TYPE) - 250 GMS
  • tomatoes (LESS TNAGY) - 250 GMS
  • sugar - 1/2 KG
  • ghee - 5 TBLSP

How to make TOMATO JAM

  1. ADD TOMATOES TO BOILING WATER AND BOIL FOR 5 MINS, SWITCHOFF THE FLAME AND CLOSE THE VESSEL FOR 10 MINS.
  2. DRAIN WATER AND PEEL THE SKIN OF TOMATOES
  3. GRIND TOMATOES TO FINE PUREE
  4. VESSEL ADD TOMATO PUREE AND BOIL IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 30 MINS OR MORE TILL TOMATOES STARTS THICKENING
  5. NOW ADD SUGAR, LITTLE GHEE AND KEEP BOILING
  6. KEEP ADDING THE GHEE AT PERIODIC INTERVALS WITH CONSTANT STIRRING.
  7. WHEN TOMATOES THICKENS AND LEAVES SIDES OF THE PAN, SWITCH OFF THE FLAME.
  8. WHEN COOLED DOWN STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINERS.

ADJUST SUGAR ACCORDING TO TOMATOES TANGYNESS
