Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Puffed rice - 2 large cup
  2. Boiled potatoes - 2 medium sized
  3. salt - As required
  4. Black pepper - 2 tsp
  5. Oregano - 2 tbsp
  6. Chill flakes - 2 tbsp
  7. Grated cheese - 5 tbsp
  8. garlic - 2 finely chopped
  9. onion - 1 medium .finely chopped
  10. butter - 1 tbsp
  11. Fresh cream - 4-5 tbsp
  12. Basil leaves - for garnishing


  1. Take a bowl. Add boiled potatoes and mash it .Add salt to taste, black pepper, oregano, chilli flakes, 11/2 tbsp grated cheese and 2cups puffed rice.
  2. Mix well everything.
  3. Take a small portion from the mixture, make round shape ball.
  4. Spread one handful puffed rice on a plate.
  5. Roll puffed rice ball over the spread out puffed rice.
  6. Meanwhile blanch tomatoes for 5mins .then remove skin and make fine paste.
  7. For making creamy tomato sauce -------
  8. Heat a pan with 1tbsp butter.Add chopped garlic and onion , saute for 2-3 mins.
  9. Now add tomato paste, salt to taste, black pepper and oregano..give a nice stir.
  10. Reduce flame for 2-3 mins.then add fresh cream and 2-3 tbsp grated cheese. .Mix well
  11. Keep cooking for 2-3 mins or until you get saucy consistency. .
  12. Now take a serving plate .Spread creamy tomato sauce. Place puffed rice balls over the sauce..
  13. Now spread grated cheese over the puffed rice balls.
  14. Sprinkle black pepper and oregano.
  15. Now keep it in a micro grill and grill it for 4mins..
  16. Garnish with basil leaves..
  17. Cheesy puffed rice balls with creamy tomato sauce is ready to serve..
