Cheesy tomato khandvi

Ingredients to make Cheesy tomato khandvi

  • 1/2 cup gram flour or besan
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • red chilly powder 1/2tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Grated cheese 1 cube
  • For temper
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 green chillies cut into slits
  • Corriender leaves

How to make Cheesy tomato khandvi

  1. In amixing bowl add gram flour, curd , tomato puree salt and red chilly and mix well to get a lump free batter
  2. Heat a wok , addthis mixture into it
  3. Cook on slow heat eith continue stirring ,do lumps csnnot be formed
  4. It takes around 8-10 ,minutes to become thick
  5. To check it take small amount of mixiture and spread on greased surface, and ket it cool
  6. If it dosent stick and easy to make a roll , then its done
  7. Now switch off the flame and spread the mixture evenly on a greased surface and spread grated cheese on it , let it cool for few minutes
  8. Make the cuts sith knife and start rolling
  9. Make all the rolls in same manner and collect into a plate
  10. Now make temper by adding mustard seeds , hing , green chillies into hot oil
  11. Now add 1 tbsp water , salt and a spoon sugar into it and let the temper cool for few seconds
  12. Pour the tempet on khandvi
  13. Garnish with fresh corriender leaves
