ABOUT Poha-aloo cutlet RECIPE

This cutlet is easy to make ,crisp from outside and soft from inside,easy to make as tea time snack or for a party.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Boiled Potatoes-2
  2. Poha -1 cup
  3. Rice flour -1 tbsp
  4. Carrom/ajwain seeds -1 tsp
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. Chat masala -1 tsp
  7. Dry mango powder/amchur -1 tsp
  8. Black pepper -1tsp
  9. Capsicum chopped- 2 tsp
  10. Onion chopped -4 tsp
  11. Ginger grated small piece
  12. Peanut -2tsp
  13. Corriander and mint leaves chopped -2-3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Arrange all ingredients.
  2. Take poha under running water for 1 min in strainer.remove excess water ,keep it side for few minutes ..it will get soft
  3. Mash the potatoes with hand ,no lump or piece should be left
  4. Like this.
  5. Add poha ,mix well with hands.
  6. Add chat masala,amchur/dry mango powder,ajwain to it.
  7. Next add salt,black pepper,ginger to it.
  8. Then add rice flour.
  9. Next add crushed peanuts,onion,capsicum,mint corriander leaves.
  10. Mix well
  11. Apply oil in hands ,with hand or cookie cutter shape them.
  12. Like this
  13. Heat oil in nonstick pan ,Shallow fry it.
  14. After few seconds as it turns golden brown flip it and cook from other side at medium flame.
  15. Done
  16. Enjoy
