Cutlet or Fritters made with Poha or Flattened Rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup Poha or Flattened Rice
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1/2 tsp sugar
  4. 1 medium size potato boiled and smashed
  5. 1 tsp chopped coriander
  6. 1/2 tsp chilly flakes
  7. 3-4 biscuits crushed
  8. 1-2 tsp cornflour
  9. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  10. Olive oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Soak Poha in water for 3-4 minutes
  2. Strain the water from Poha.Take Poha in a bowl,add salt,sugar,coriander,chilly flakes and chat masala together.Add the mashed potatoes and mix it well.
  3. Crush the biscuits.Take cornflour and mix it with water.
  4. Take some mixture in hand and shape it like a circle or oval.Dip it in the cornflour mixture and then rub the cutlet on the crushed biscuits.
  5. Take oil in a flat pan,fry the cutlets on low flame,till it becomes golden brown.
  6. Put it on tissue paper and serve hot with tomato sauce.
