Ingredients to make Navratri sweet potato ladoo

  • 2 peeled and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 13 makhanas (lotus seeds)
  • 5 cashews
  • 5 raisins
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp ghee

How to make Navratri sweet potato ladoo

  1. TAKE SWEET POTATOES AND BOIL THEM IN A PRESSURE COOK FOR 1 WHISTLE
  2. IN A PAN,HEAT 1 TBSP GHEE AND ROAST 13 MAKHANAS (LOTUS SEEDS) ON MEDIUM FLAME UNTIL THEY TURN CRISPY
  3. TAKE THEM IN A MIXER
  4. GRIND THEM INTO FINE POWDERY FORM ONCE THEY COOL DOWN.
  5. TAKE MAKHANA POWDER,5 CASHEWS,5 RAISINS ,4 TBSP SUGAR
  6. TAKE A KADAI ADD 1 TBSP GHEE
  7. ADD CASHEWS,FRY
  8. TAKE IN A PLATE,ADD RAISINS FRY AND TAKE IN SAME PLATE
  9. NOW ADD 2 PEELED AND MASHED SWEET POTATOES,SAUTE FOR A MINUTE
  10. THEN ADD SUGAR MIX WELL. STIR CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL THE MIXTURE THICKENS AND ALL MOISTURE EVAPORATES
  11. TAKE MIXTURE IN A BOWL,LET IT COOL DOWN
  12. KEEP 1 CASHEW FOR EACH LADOO ON TOP
  13. KEEP 1 RAISIN FOR EACH LADOO, SPRINKLE SOME MAKHANA POWDER ,YOUR SWEET POTATO LADOOS ARE DONE.
