Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Gram flour/besan - 1 cup
  2. Semolina - 1 cup
  3. Yogurt - 1 cup
  4. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Water - 1 cup
  7. Oil 2 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  9. Eno fruit salt - 1 tsp
  10. For tempering Black mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Water - 3 tbsp
  12. Green chilly - 5 - 6
  13. Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix together gram flour, semolina, yogurt, sugar, salt, lemon juice, oil and water to make a smooth paste.
  2. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Add eno fruit salt in the dhokla mixture just before making dhokla and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter in a greased mould and microwave it for four mins
  5. Heat oil in a pan for tempering and add mustard seeds, green chilly and water
  6. Pour it over the dhokla
