Caramel rice pudding, a creamy delicious dessert with a urban twist of Hersheys caramel that not only provides a finger licking taste but adds to its creamy texture and also gives it a subtle golden brown colour making it more exiciting to serve and enjoy. Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup : Short grain rice
  2. 6 cups : Full fat milk
  3. 1/2 cup : Granulated white sugar
  4. 1/2 cup : Hersheys Caramel syrup
  5. 1/2 cup : Heavy cream
  6. 2 tbsp : Castor sugar
  7. Chopped nuts of choice


  1. Wash and soak the rice in enough water for 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and set ready.
  3. Heat the milk in a deep pan and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the drained rice, reduce the heat to low and cook stirring occasionally while scraping the sides and base of the pan.
  5. Once rice is soft and cooked through mix in the granulated white sugar and Hershey's caramel syrup.
  6. Simmer for few minutes until it turns thick and creamy.
  7. Once done cool it to room temperature, for best results serve it chilled.
  8. Just before serving whip up the heavy cream with castor sugar until soft peaks are formed.
  9. Scoop the creamy caramel pudding into glasses of choice, top it with soft whipped cream and chopped nuts to preference.
  10. Deliciously creamy caramel rice pudding or kheer is ready to enjoy.
