ABOUT Non vege Rice Roti. ( Protein packed rice roti) RECIPE

I had Some extra Chicken Soup( broth) as I had made some dry chicken . . And I wanted to make Rice flour roti. So I added hot Chicken Soup instead of hot watet to knead the dough for Rice roti. And that gave me delicious Protein packed Rice roties.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice flour 1 cup
  2. Chicken broth of chicken marinated with salt and turmeric and pressure cooked. 1/2 cup
  3. Zeera 1 tsp
  4. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tbsp
  5. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  6. Ghee ( clarified butter) 3 tbsp
  7. Salt to tast ( if needed)

Instructions

  1. Take 1/2 cup of chicken broth.
  2. Strain if any pieces are there.
  3. Transfer Rice flour in a bowl to knead.
  4. Crush Zeera rubbing between palms.
  5. Add Zeera to the flour. Add Sesame seeds too.
  6. Add coriander leaves.
  7. Add hot soup / broth gradually.
  8. Make soft dough. No need to add plain water.
  9. Cover the dough with damp cloth.
  10. Heat a griddle. Roll Roti with soft hands.
  11. Roast on medium high heat.
  12. Roast on both sides. Apply ghee.
  13. Serve with Chicken or Egg bhurji or vegetable of you choice.
