ABOUT Gajar ka murrabba RECIPE

Melt-in-the-mouth, delicious, simple and sweet recipe which I have learnt form my mom as everone in my home and parent's home relish to have sweets after meal specially in winter'ss carrots are all around in the market in winters the jar of murraba is always filled never finished in whole season.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 500gm /1/2kg Gajar/carrots
  2. 200gm/1bowl sugar
  3. 4 to5 crushed cardamom seeds
  4. 1tbsp rose water

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel carrots cut them length wise in small pieces if you want to cut them in big pieces you have to prick them with fork.
  2. Then spread on cotton cloth rub and wipe with cloth to dry all pieces completely.
  3. In a big bowl mix sugar with carrots, keep aside for over night or 5 to 6 hrs till sugar melts in carrots completetly.
  4. Heat a pan add carrot sugar mixture in it.
  5. Let it boil on high for 2 to3 boils then cook it for 20 to 25 mins on low flame with stirring till sugar syrup gets little thick consistency and carrots become tender.
  6. Turn off the flame and add crushed cardmom seeds and gulab jal, after cooling transfer to a jar.

What should we use to prevent syrup not to be crystalized. Ans pls
