About SWEET DISCS Recipe

These are soft and juicy sweet discs , perfect dessert for parties,guests will love to have these

SWEET DISCS

Ingredients to make SWEET DISCS

  • curdled milk(chena) 1 cup
  • semolina (Suji) 2 cups
  • mawa 50 gram
  • cashews and raisins(chopped) 1 cup
  • baking powder half teaspoon
  • for syrup-- sugar 2 cups
  • water 2 cups
  • cardamom 2
  • piece of lemon 1
  • ghee 3 tablespoons
  • oil (for frying) as required

How to make SWEET DISCS

  1. heat 2 spoons of ghee in a wok
  2. fry Suji for 2 minutes
  3. now mix little amount of warm water into it and keep aside
  4. Again add one spoon of ghee in the wok and fry Cashew and raisins
  5. after 1 minute add Mawa to it and fry for another 1 minute in low flame
  6. turn off the gas and keep aside
  7. now boil sugar and water in a pan
  8. add cardamom and piece of lemon to it
  9. boil till u get one string consistency
  10. turn off the gas and cover it
  11. now take Suji, Chena and baking powder in a plate
  12. mix it well to make a soft dough
  13. take small amount of dough, make it flat and place the cashew mixture in the middle
  14. make flat discs
  15. Fry all the discs
  16. put it in the hot syrup
  17. keep it for minimum 1 hour
  18. Serve it

My Tip:

While making the dough little amount of milk can be added if required
