Chicken leg pieces are marinated with lemon pepper and a charcoal flavour commung out of it make it taste awesome. You can enjoy it as starter. A mouthwatering dish for wonter evening

Charcoal flavour lemon chicken

Ingredients to make Charcoal flavour lemon chicken

  • chicken leg piece- 2nos.
  • Juice of 1 medium lemon
  • A bunch coriander leaves- finely chopped
  • Black pepper powder -1 tbsp
  • A piece of charcoal
  • ginger garlic paste- 1tsp
  • ghee- 1tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Charcoal flavour lemon chicken

  1. First make done but to the leg piece. Marinade chicken leg piece with all the ingredients except charcoal. Rub generously all the masala to the pieces
  2. Let it set for 1hr. So that all flavour goes inside the leg piece.
  3. Now transfer all to a pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistle in high flame and then off the stove
  4. Now heat a non stick pan and add all the pieces first and fry them in high flame to a red colour from all side.
  5. Now add the juices of the chicken to it fry for some time so that they got coated to the chicken pieces
  6. Now heat the charcoal piece in direct flame. Now transfer it into a small bowl and place it between the pieces in the non-stick pan
  7. Now add a spoon of ghee to the charcoal piece and cover it immediately so that the flavour goes to pieces.
  8. Now ready and enjoy the pieces

My Tip:

This is totally a zero oil recipe. If you are not using non-stick pan. You can add 2tbsp oil to fry the leg pieces
