Charcoal noodles burger

Ingredients to make Charcoal noodles burger

  • Charcoal noodles 1 pack /100gm
  • cornflour 2tsp or egg
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper 1tsp
  • chilli flakes 1 tsp
  • oil 2tsp
  • Boiled green peas 1/2cup
  • Boiled potato 1
  • Bread crumbs 2tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1tsp
  • chilli powder 1tsp
  • cabbage sliced 2tsp or lettuce
  • tomato cut in round shape 2nos
  • Cheese slices 2
  • tomato sauce 2 tbsp
  • Burger spread 3/4tbsp

How to make Charcoal noodles burger

  1. Boil noodles for 5mins.
  2. Strain
  3. In a mixing bowl mix cornflour, salt, chilli flakes, pepper powder and water. Make slurry.
  4. Mix strained noodles in this slurry.
  5. In a flat bottomed container, take 4tbsp of noodles and press so that it will take the shape of the container. Leave like this for 15mins.
  6. Then slowly unmould and shallow fry both the sides.
  7. Grind peas to a coarse paste. Take a mixing bowl add pea mixture, potato, all the spices, salt and mash well. Add breadcrumbs and make round shaped tikki. Coat with little breadcrumbs.
  8. Shallow fry the tikki.
  9. For assembling take one round shaped noodles layer, apply burger spread, place few cabbage slices, sprinkle salt, chilli flakes and pepper powder.
  10. Then place mattar tikki, tomato sauce, cheese slice, few round shaped cut tomatoes, sprinkle salt and pepper powder.
  11. Then take another round layered noodles and apply burger spread on one side and place that over tomatoes. Burger is ready now to serve.

My Tip:

You can use any tikki of your choice like veggie tikki, chicken tikki etc.
